Name of Posts	Qualification Criteria
Assistant Engineer	A first class Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in civil Engineering from any recognized University or council Association with minimum two years' working experience.
Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical)	Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering as may be applicable from any council or board recognized by the state Government.
District Information Analyst	a. A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university. b. One-Year full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application Course (P.G.D.C.A) from an institute recognized by U.G.C./AICTE/Government of West Bengal with three years working experience. Or 'A' level Certificate of DOEACC course from an institute recognized by the Department of electronics (D.O.E.), Government of India with Three years' working Experience.
Stenographer	A Bachelor's degree from a recognized university and ability to take dictation at a speed of at least 80 (English)/ 70 (Bengali) words per minute and typing speed 40 (English)/ 30 (Bengali) words per minute.
Computer Assistant	a. A Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university. b. One-year full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Application Course (P.G.D.C.A.) from an institute recognized by U.G.C./AICTE/Government of West Bengal. Or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology from a Polytechnic recognized by AICTE; Or B.SC. (Hons.) in Computer Science. Or B.C.A. degree from a recognized University.
Lower Division Assistant	Passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination, having secured at least fifty percent marks in aggregate, of any recognized University, Board or Council...
Group-D Employees	Passed at least Class VIII examination of any recognized school.
Salary Details
Assistant Engineer	Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 42,000/- plus Grade pay Rs. 5,400/-
Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil & Electrical)	Rs. 9,000/- to Rs. 40,500/- plus Grade pay Rs. 4,400/-
District Information Analyst	Rs. 7,100/- to Rs. 37,600/- plus Grade pay Rs. 3,900/-
