Kolkata Police recruits 388 security personnel at different Government Hospitals and different types of health facilities in 2018 to improve the security, queue management and access control etc. in Kolkata.  Eligible candidates can apply through prescribed format mode and send their application on or before 06.06.2018 up to 5.00 pm. Educational qualification:

Class-VIII pass.

• The candidate should be a permanent resident of Kolkata Municipal Corporation area. The candidates residing in the Police Station area where the health facilities are located will be preferred.
• Preference will be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet/Boy Scouts/ NSS Volunteers/ Civil Defence Volunteers/ Civic Volunteers/Disaster Management Duties etc.
• The candidate should not have any criminal record.
• The candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

 Selection Process :

The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the interview carrying 50
marks on current affairs, aptitude for security work, mental alertness and special skills (Games and sports, NCC, Boy Scouts, NSS, Civil Defence, Civic Volunteers and Disaster Management Duties).

After the Interview a merit list of provisionally selected candidates will be prepared.

How to Apply

• The eligible candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed format to be downloaded from Kolkata Police Website.
• Following documents attached with the application :
• Self attested copy of proof of address (Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card/ e-Aadhaar Card with photograph/ Passport/ Driving License/ Bank Pass book/ Electric Bill/Telephone Bill).
• A copy of recent passport size (4.5cm x 3.5cm), self attested photograph.
• Self attested copy of proof of age (Birth Certificate/ Pan Card/ School leaving certificate/ Admit card of Madhyamik or its equivalent examination/ Aadhaar Card/ Passport/ Driving License).
• Self attested copies of certificates of Educational Qualification.
• Self attested copies of certificates of extracurricular activities, if any.
• Self attested copy of Caste certificate.
